Re: Underweight or just little?

My Hayden is 31g smaller than the next lightest and 59g lighter than my heaviest but she's a little terror and she gets away with murder too.

It's always the little ones you've got to watch

Re: Feedback on this mix please?

Hmmm....

I think I'm gonna wait until my SG book arrives then start again - my sleep deprived state is clearly no time to be attempting to mix for my rats

Thank you for your help :D

Feedback on this mix please?

This is currently in its development stage, but I'd appreciate some input. I've read the articles on feeding and most of the mix check threads but I'm a bit overdone with info now and my brain is starting to fizz out of my ears. :P I'm using percentages rather than scoops at the moment because I'm a...

Re: HELP - Rat Pulling Stitches

Only experience I had was when one of my boys was neutered, and he ended up having a lampshade of doom which was only removed when he ate.

I don't know if there're any other ways, but good luck. :hearts:

Re: Fresh foods my rats ate today

Savoy cabbage, Rocket, baby beetroot leaves, mangetout, sugar snap peas, apple and nectarine.

They did pick out all the nectarine and apple first before grudgingly eyeing up all the green stuff

I was going to say, Ribena helped with one of our fussy boys.

Yogurt worked well with the others - Marmite even worked with one who adored it :rollred:

Re: Potentially Loosing Three Tomorrow :'(

Sounds like a horrific decision to have to make. Can't imagine how horrible that must be, deciding for just one has been rough, but 3 in one go must be just awful. Thinking of you & your bubs :hearts:

Re: Hi guys :)

Welcome to FR. I just wanted to echo what was said above, it isn't recommended that rats are castrated before 5 -6 months and therefore you're unlikely to find a vet who'll do it. So in the mean time your lil lady will need a friend. At my vet it costs £40 for castration or £55 to spay a female. Goo...
