No I gave him his meds he was fine just annoyed and He went back in his cage chewing his bars for food then ten mins later he went really strange and nearly fell off the tunnel. ;) im not sure about the bird ones but beaphar ivermecetin spot on kills any mites on rats its an anti parasite specially designed for rats.theres lots of different anti parasites out there but some meant for other animals are poisonus like ivermecetin is to cats and dogs . so i would make 100% sure...

If he's still eating and drinking well and appears well I would just keep and eye and make sure it settles. Maybe skip the veg for a couple of days and make sure he gets plenty of water so he doesn't become dehydrated. If you've got any Dr Squiggles you could put that in their water to help repleni...

:D my ratties come out to play almost everyday so i voted for everyday one they do have their own room but atm its filled with junk because ive been having a big clear out.So at the min they get free range in a boarded of clear area or on the bed most of the time they stick close to me climbing over...

:) hi iam not 100% sure but i would say leave it for a few hours to give it time to soak in and coat all the fleas then rinse with a mild shampoo suitable for rats (check with the vets whats suitable) . the ivermecetin remains active for upto 4 weeks from the day of application so dosent need repeat...
