Re: Do you feed a vegetarian diet ? (adult rats from 6 months and older)

What are others opinions on this subject? Do you think that all rats need some kind of animal protein in their diet?

Re: Do you feed a vegetarian diet ? (adult rats from 6 months and older)

These are the ingredients: Barley flakes, paddy, corn flakes, buckwheat, millet, pea flakes, pasta (wheat, spinach, tomato), barley, puffed rice, soy flakes, hemp seeds, brown rice, oat flakes, spelled flakes, whea...

I voted for option 2. vegetarian drymix, with once a week/every 2 weeks, a boiled egg, or some salmon.

Re: Foraging toys

Now with fleece on the cagefloor, they use the toilets 100%. What bedding can i try next? Maybe something like c...

Re: Foraging toys

Yes i have multiple toilets, also up high in the cage.
But when i use bedding on the whole cagefloor, even when it is other than the toilet substrate, they poo everywhere, and not only in their toilets.

Foraging toys

I have a couple different foraging toys and my rats like and know how to use them. Do you thi...
