I really am not doing very well with my boys and am starting to wonder if I'm just not the right home for them :| . I can't even get in the cage without turbo going for me. :...

Castration after care

Well I've found a vet who is able to whip Turbos nads off and he's going in tomorrow. So was just wondering what after care he will need please? I take it he will need to be kept in a separate cage from his brother? If so how long for? Anything else I need to do or be aware of? As always thankyou fo...

Re: What base for mix?

Thanks guys. I posted about him in behaviour before and from the responses then a bit of looking round the Internet it really does sound like a hormone thing. I'm just trying to find a capable vet nearby. X

Re: What base for mix?

Thanks NellyNoodle I do think he has a huge hormone issue bless him and am trying to find a local vet that's able to nobble him but just thought maybe the colourings weren't helping either? Do you think it may be worth changing or just leave for now and see how he goes once he's been nobbled? I just...

What base for mix?

Hi all I've been using banana brunch as the base for my mix but have realised it does have colourings in. As one of my rats has aggression issues I want to try a base mix without colourings in case this is part of the problem. I've been looking at the rat rations base mixes but am getting confused b...

vet recommendations welwyn garden city herts

Firstly I hope this is in the right place & really sorry if it's not. i'm looking for a good rat vet preferably in Welwyn Garden City (as I don't drive) as I need to get Turbo's little bits nobbled due to him being so aggressive. Obviously I need to try and find the most competent vet to do this so ...
