I weighed her last night and she weighed 164g so she put on 4g in one day.
I will contact woodgreen to get her a companion :-)

So my baby boy is a baby girl!!!!!

My new ratty Remy is actually a girl!!
The place she came from had her mixed in with boys!
I've been told she's between 8 and 10 weeks. I've had her just under a week.
How do I know if she's been caught out? I've weighed her and she's 160g.

Double Rex advice please

Hello everyone. I've had rats for many years but never a double rex. My husband got given a box at work (he works in a garden/pet shop. In this box was a little boy that I assume is a double rex. I can't seem to download a pic on here. He's coming home tomorrow. Can anyone give me any advice on whet...

Jessy's off her food :(

I've only had Jessy about 3 weeks. She's a rescue, around 2 years so we were told. I noticed a couple of days after getting her, she wasn't eating much, but she did eat her treats. Well a few days ago I noticed she hadn't touched her food or treats. She eats baby food and treats that we give her but...

How old do you think??

I have been reading other posts, but didn't want to take over so thought I'd better start my own. When we rescued Jessy, we were told she was 2 years old. She just doesn't look it. What do you think? http://i1348.photobucket.com/albums/p727/MrsNorm86/11511_10151680873478498_2027500254_n_zpsf99fe144....

Respiratory Infection - Liquid on nose

Hi, I know there are other threads about respiratory infections but I didn't want to take over with my problem, so I have started my own. My recent rescue, Jessy, has got an infection (she came to me on shavings  ) She sneezes and I can hear her breathe. I am using my natural products to help,...

Re: What age is an 'old' rat?

I always thought the average span is 2.5 for boys and 2.3/4 for girls :?
