Re: Tumour removal - are lab tests worth it?

I've never opted to have a lump tested, and have had quite a few standard lump removal surgeries over the years.

Re: Yffre not eating, on heart meds, steroids & soft food

I always added some Complan to the meds mix as a boost. Have you tried avocado, mashed potato, baked beans, egg? Sometimes warming them up a bit makes them more tempting.

Re: Yffre not eating, on heart meds, steroids & soft food

I've recently been in a similar situation - what dose of fortekor is she on? There may be scope to increase this, and add in a diuretic. I tried a wide range of foods to find one that was appetising, often alternating between a few options. Complan is good for mixing in to whatever is being eaten. B...

I'd second the Alaska recommendation, it's a great spare cage.

Re: Amazon lightning deals

Re: Amazon lightning deals

I have one of these carriers and really like it but the door mechanism broke really quickly, then the hatch on the front snapped off...I don't think they do replacement parts so mine's now held together with tape and a cocktail stick! Just something to be aware of.

Re: Looking for cage reccomendations!

If an SRS is within budget, I'd go for it - it's an excellent cage, and you can never have too much space (I started with a group of 4 in an explorer cage, which is a similar size)

Re: Double SRS/ Explorer

Excellent - and you didn't end up with much of a gap between trays either (or so it seems?) I like the look of those cable ties too.
