Thank you for your reply, I did take him to the vets as shortly after posting this he took a drastic turn for the worse when I found blood all over the cage, after checking all of them for injuries there were no obvious injuries or causes. Thank you for both your answers, what dry mix would you recommend? Can I just switch over or should I introduce it slowly with their current food? What do people think to feeding 2 smaller portions morning and evening rather than just one larger portion?

Hi,
I am looking at getting pet rats but as a first timer I have done lots of research but I still have some questions. My main question is do people exercise both/all of their rats out of the cage at the same time or do you get them out one at a time?
