Re: Double rex

She has a small patch of fur on her head between her ears, a bit on her muzzle very curly whiskers and eyelashes, patch of fur by her tail and the rest is naked or covered in what I call bumfluff. Funnily enough she has white skin with black patches, only has fur on the black patche...

Double rex
So I have new ratties, rescued yesterday. One lil girl is a double rex, she's the sweetest little thing. I've treated for mites as her ears are scabby. I just wondered if there's anything I need to do for her due to the nakedness, oil massages, more frequent vet trips special diet etc. I know to kee...

Re: Spotty ears
I know, maybe she thought I wouldnt take her otherwise. I would have, but would have been nice to be answered honestly. I am gonna have to treat all 3 now, as I had them all on me for a little intro yesterday. The new rat, truffle, is now eating and drinking really well. Shes really affectionate and...

Spotty ears
So being the bleeding heart that I am, I was in my local pet shop picking up my rat food and spotted this gorgeous little female rat all alone, curled up shivering. The shop owner told me that she had been away and one of her staff sold all the others but her and she was really annoyed with them. Th...

Possibly pregnant rat!
So I bought my single rat a friend, we have had her 2 weeks. She was tiny when i got her, apparently 6 weeks old and in a mix sex group. Both rats I have are definitely female. While playing today I noticed that my newest rat has a rather big, full feeling belly. Is there any way to tell if she's pr...

My question is why is she determined to get inside my nose. She sticks her snout in my ears, which isnt too bad but last night she gor herself e...
