Our spare bedroom is a pet room, it has washable floors and wipe clean services. In it are our hamsters, mice and guinea pigs, since we got the rats I have put off putting them in there as I worry they will get up set with the other animal smells and its a silly worry but madeye seems to enjoy layin...

Today mine are having a root veg, pasta, Pearl barley,and split pea casserole. I bought a tiny casserole dish from poundland and its great to pop in the oven along side our meals.

Still very thin
Chaser is doing well and has recovered from her pneumonia, She is putting weight on and is enjoying eating but she is still very thin and small. I still give her babyfood everyday to try and help her gain a little more and she tucks into this plus what she has with the others.is there anything else ...

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for recommending this vet,she is absolutely fantastic and I have no doubt we would have lost Chaser if it wasn't for her.

With chaser I just wrapped her in a towel and syringed it into the side of her mouth.

Yes I don't think the other vet had a clue but the new vet is great. Chaser was so ill I thought we were going to lose her but fingers crossed she seems to be improving leaps and bounds.

We can see a big improvement today and the vet is really pleased with her,chaser has even put weight on
she is a lot more active. Also the vet days her teeth are fine.

Chaser is still poorly she is on antibiotics and some other meds and on the vets advice i am trying to get her to put weight on by giving her babyfood,little and often She was at the vets again today and she back on Friday. The vet says if there is no improvement soon then as a last resort she will ...

Took Chaser to the new vets and my husband said they were great. Unfortunately poor Chaser has pneumonia she gave us antibiotic's for her so fingers crossed. Has anyone got any experience with this with their rat?

No unfortunately he didn't seem very good at all, I'm not sure what he ment about the teeth not meeting, I did ask him a few times but he just said its not a problem.I really hope we can get her an appointment with the new vet first thing.
