Re: Elderly boys general advice please

Thanks for replying Mary. They have feasted on ratRations food all their lives and now on the Elderly kidney friendly mix. I have to admit to making the cage layout easier with ramps to the 2 levels above but interesting to read your comment about keeping them as active as possible. I will search th...

Re: A few Questions and Care??

A digging box could be filled with anything safe for rats - I'm sure the variety would be appreciated as it makes it interesting.

Well done for doing your homework this time round - you'll be great :D

Re: Boggling!

I've still never caught Wispa to date - perhaps it's not his 'thing' !!

Shame you missed it but hopefully it'll happen again for you.

Re: Ramps and mild HLD - need ideas!

I have four tuff tubes in the cage and a bucket load of long cable ties. Also use masking tape to fix them together for a loooooong run - the possibilities are endless!

Re: Slight facial swelling?

Has the vet said where the source of infection is? I'm only guessing that until the source itself is treated/removed, you can drain an abscess till your hearts content but it will still have the potential to flare anytime. AB's will be just a quick fix. How is he in himself?

Re: Slight facial swelling?

Poor Fergus - scritches to him  He'll probably feel quite rough with it if it's a tooth abscess. Guess he's on soft food. Hope you're doing ok too x
