Re: Advice on neutering

Did you make any decisions about spays? This is a good thread for looking at the pros and cons of elective/routine spays.

Are any of these vets close enough to you?

Re: Beaphar Spot On - New addition - How long

How did you choose to handle this? How are the rats now?

If you end up with lice again, this thread might help - or help any people asking the same question in future :)

Re: Good rat vets in Shropshire/Staffordshire

Hello :) Did you manage to find a vet? Have you seen the Recommended Vet list here ? I am bumping this in case someone who is local can help :) Thinking sideways, it might be worth approaching FR members who live locally and asking for recommendations - search your home town and see if you get any p...

Hello, Katie :)

Sorry that no-one replied to you before now :(

In case someone is asking the same question in future, and is running a search - how did you choose to proceed with Barney's treatment?

Re: out of hours vet recommendations (durham area)

Hello, Naomi :) Sorry that you haven't had a reply before now :( In case people are searching in future, did you ever find a good OOH vet? We usually end up travelling to Swindon with emergency cases - the South West Wales emergency vets are all run by the same chain, who don't know much about roden...

Re: Microphthalmia

Hello, Cara :) I have always thought that Microphthalmia was just cosmetic. I have had a few rats with it - in one eye, or in both - and it doesn't seem to have bothered them at all.
