I have one of the Ferplast cage model they work pretty well, i would recommend them to anyone.

First off i would recommend getting another rattie for company but since its not an option then may be a toy would help your rattie with some engaging activity. I am quite new in rat keeping, some of these ways of euthanizing our beautiful animals are so scary. I really hope i dont get to have to choose any of the ways because its gonna break my heart.

The wound looks deep but nothing to worry about, that will heal in no time. Just have to keep an eye on the cage to ensure the fighting is toned down.

I would recommend seeking a second opinion from a different vet. I am not sure about administering meds on your own without a vet's prescription.

Yeah you might want to upgrade your cage, you don't want your rats getting crowded in one corner. Adequate space is vital.

Rats don't often bite unless they are under pain, fear or simply undergoing hormonal changes. You want to consider these factors.
