Re: Easy clean cages

Probably the savic royal suit would be best or the explorer cage. They both have double opening doors and wheels for easy moving, you wouldnt be able to lift them but you wouldnt need to lift them because they have a stand on wheels :)

Re: Name this cage please

Thanks yeah its not a great quality cage but i got it second hand for £30 and its worked well as an extension for the adventura :) The main thing i like about it though is that removing the middle level doesnt impact the structure of the cage and it has a door at the top which means vertical expansi...

Re: Excessive itching - Already treated for mites etc

The sore is almost gone now :D it wasnt quite on his hip but wasnt on the side of his stomach either, it was in between.

I treated them with the spot on stuff you get from pets at home/wilkinsons beapher? or something like that :)

Excessive itching - Already treated for mites etc

My Ronnie has been on Anti-biotics for the last week for a skin infection, he had a small sore that doubled in size over night, the vet said the original sore probably got infected which made it look worse. He was on synulox, 3 drops twice a day, hes been on it for 7 days now, the scab hasnt complet...

Re: Round sore/scab - skin issue?

Thankyou, i definitely think its some form of skin issue as Ronnie doesnt really fight with the others so i shouldnt be a injury especially for it to get bigger and he has a really thick coat to protect him from scratches anyway. i have noticed that pumpkin and peanut have thin fur over their rump a...

Re: Infectious Illnesses

Thankyou very much! I had no idea that so many had the potential to infect the whole group! Im going to do some research into the main three you have mentioned.

These two boys have been mixed with the "new stock" since january so theyve had the potential to be exposed to a whole host of thing!

He is also no more vocal than usual, in fact the only time he ever make a noise is when i need to steal back off him whatever yummy snack he has stole from me <3. Its all started since Ruben wa...

Re: why do scratched take so long to heal?

I dont think they are infected, they arent inflamed or anything like that and they are in the exact same place. I look at them everyday and they just dont seem to change. Occassionally a scab comes off partly but there is no sign of new scratches, they dont look fresh.

Thanks Amy
