One fat rat... ETA lethargic with prominent nipples

We're a bit worried about Lucy, she's always been chunky and lazy but lately she seems quite lethargic (not bothering to get out of bed for food til after the others, she stretches from her hammock to the pea fishing bowl) people keep asking if she's pregnant (her nipples are showing massively aswel...

Can adults get new home sniffles?

So we've recently (this last week) moved house and last night one of my girls was sneezing a fair bit... she sounds fine, no extra porph and not fluffy. By morning another girl was doing it too. I think it's down to moving house, new rooms new smells and new litter, I'll obviously be keeping an eye ...

Some frozen grapes today, lovely as it's a toy and a food in one, and brilliant for the hot weather. And some frozen peas for pea fishing

I'd be tempted to give him a half salt bath while he's co-operative, submerge the major wounds (leg and back) but don't get his head too wet.

Re: Respy Noises from Baby

Well I woke up at 5am again and decided to check on her. She is breathing fine and was very annoyed at me for dragging her out of bed at 5am (so annoyed she widdled on me, charming) I'm going to keep an eye on it and hope it's just delayed new-home-snuffles (now that they have access to the substrat...

Re: Respy Noises from Baby

It's 4.30am (I battle insomnia) and she's doing it again :/ she seems fine in herself happy and pingy and bouncy but seems to sound like a pigeon in the early hours. If I weren't getting up I wouldn't notice it, and would not believe anything is wrong, but as this is the second time in a week...

Re: Respy Noises from Baby

She seems to be fine now, she just likes to scare me! As soon as my boyfriend went to take a look at her she started clambering all over him playing the 'Look at me I'm cute feed me!' card

Oddly it seems to have passed but I'm not happy to leave it, it'll be something I need to keep an eye on. Perhaps she just woke up chesty like people do?

Respy Noises from Baby

Woke up this morning and one of our girls is hooting like a pigeon, snuffly and clucky. She seems fine in herself. Is this normal early in the morning (It's 5.30, I woke her up) or is it a resp infection? If so is it treatable at home or do I need to get her to a vet when they open?
