Attempt one did not end well, managed to clip 2 nails from each rat before scrabbling squeaking and scratching ensued. Did not help with OH yelling 'don't cut their toes off'...

Anyone have any advice or recommendations?

I've had four rats previously and never had to clip nails until they were elderly and stopped caring about grooming as much. However my two current babies aren't using their scratching block (why scratch it when they can climb on it, wee on it and hide under it?) It's starting to hurt now when they ...

The girls got treated to a leftover chicken and vegetable mini pie (about the size of a saucer) last night, and I caught Lucy stashing treats in what's left of it this morning lol

A bath has not helped my multicoloured rat situation, so today Lucy had a bit of cucumber (it was for both of then...) And they are starting on a boiled egg... Nice 'safe' food lol

Cherry tomatoes, cucumber, also; strawberries, raspberries and blueberries should never be given to white-based rats... My siamese girl looks like a rainbow lol
