Available rescue: 2 male rats, Wallington, Surrey

Post by pelicano » Sat May 05, 2018 1:42 pm

Starlight Trust has the following available for adoption

Number of rats in group: 2
Gender: Male
Age(s): Born approx. January 2017
Name(s): Beep and Boop
Colours/varieties: See photo
Neutered: No

Reason for rehoming: Beep & Boop were unsold pet shop rats who spent their first five months in a shop before being adopted. They were surrendered to rescue due to a change in their person’s circumstances

Temperament: The boys missed out on crucial socialisation having spent their ‘childhoods’ in a shop. They are sweet, curious boys but they are not used to being handled and aren’t comfortable with handling at the moment. This is being worked on.

Medical problems: No known issues

Will the group be split (only relevant for groups of 4 and over): n/a

Transport available: No

Other: An experienced, confident home is needed

These animals are for adoption via rescue charity The Starlight Trust, which is based in Wallington, South London. The trust rehomes animals to within about an hour of their location. Prospective homes will be asked to complete an application form, will be vetted, and will need to sign an adoption contract. You can find out more about the adoption process and complete an application at http://starlighttrust.org.uk/animal-rescue/adopt/. Please note: This advert has been shared by a volunteer who has not met the animals so any questions should be directed to the trust via email on homing@starlighttrust.org.uk
