I'd like to preface this by saying that I have a vet visit set up! I just want to see what the community thinks.

My sweet ratty started with a few scabs behind the ears and I thought he had been fighting with his cagemate. I kept an eye on them and they didnt fight so I assumed all was well, the scabs would heal. Then they spread. Quickly. Over the course of a week, a few scabs behind the ears traveled almost entirely down his back. I have included a picture. I think the most likely culprit is mites, however the fact that they're so.... in line with eachother, Im concerned it could be more serious or fungal. Please let me know what you all think.

I agree. That does look like it's probably just mites. If you are in the UK you can buy Ivermectin in pet shops or online, no need for a vet visit. Anywhere else in the world you will probably need to see a vet for treatment.
