How do I wash fleece?

Post by Krothy11 » Sun Feb 11, 2018 12:31 am

Hey, guys! I've got another question xD Sorry

Can i wash the fleece with normal washing machine detergent? I've seen people use special detergents but it's not very easy to find that here, i believe. Washing it with normal detergent and just letting it dry 100% is okay, no? Does it turn the fleece toxic?

Thanks you to everyone that is taking the time to read my questions and reply to them :P

I was my hammocks, made from fleece, in the washing machine. I use a normal biological detergent but use a hot wash. I also use a horse wash bag to wash my fleeces as it keeps all the muck in the bag and not the machine, like this one ... dpSrc=srch

I use normal washing powder, sometimes non bio but not always.

You'll find there will be hairs and debris stuck to the fleece, so it's better for your machine to put them inside a wash bag (sold here for horsewear). I also then like to use a tumble drier to get the rest of the loose hair off, but they can be dried first.
