Ahoy!
My ratties have hammocks and minks sewn by me from thick materials. For obvious reasons I don't wash it all by hand but in the washing machine. Hence my question! Should I use some kind of washing powder? To be honest, I'm afraid to add anything because my husband is allergic and I don't want to do the same to my boys. I just add a little bit of grey soap and rinse everything twice.
What do you use for washing?

Re: Washing hammocks
Honestly, I just use my normal washing liquid, BUT I only put half in compared to washing my own clothes. I do occasionally have an eco egg on the go and I will use that when it's in use - you can buy an non-fragranced version.
