Rats lick stranger; Not me

Post by NubsNLubs » Wed May 10, 2017 7:58 pm

I've had my rats for a few weeks now. Every night I greet them, let them out to play, feed them, give them my food... yet they don't want to be touched and never kiss me. My father walked in one night and went right over and licked his fingers, even though he had no food on them. What am I doing wrong? Why do my rats give strangers they don't know kisses, but not me? I honestly feel a bit betrayed, lmao.

Officially ratless. Groot, Star-lord, Yondu adopted by another rat lover.

Yes, I've noticed that rats will just lick some people more than others. I have rats who lick visitors who don't lick me, but when one of my rats does lick me a lot, I know that they will lick other people even more.
