Does spaying help with dragging/pulling behavior?

Hi,

I have three female rats. One of them has a bad habit of pulling her elderly cagemate by the scruff, leg, or whatever else she can get a hold of. The elderly one of course hates it and she either freezes, runs away or fights back.
Aside from that, the young one is not aggressive and the girls usually get along. Would spaying help with the dragging behavior? I tried redoing the intros twice and things were going well each time, and then the dragging started again.
She only drags the elderly cagemate, never her sister. Also, the elderly one has some health problems (bladder or kidney related) so maybe that might affect how other rats act towards her? Or how she reacts?

How old is she? If she's very young then she may grow out of it. (It's a shame there aren't any other older rats as they would probably tell her off for it.)

If it continues, then spaying might help.
