Rat Proof Living Room

Post by PaigeLouiseC » Sun Jul 31, 2016 4:29 pm

Hey Everyone!

We have been getting our girls out in the hallway (safe and secure) and will have had them a week tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for rat-proofing our front room so the girls can free range in there soon. We are going to block any holes etc but is it okay for them to be free ranging in areas where they can get under the sofa and table etc?

Thank you!

I'd say it depends how confident the girls are with you - are they likely to get scared and hide? If so, it might be worth keeping them in a smaller area until they've built their confidence up a bit. If they hid, how easy would it be for you to get them out? Also be careful that they can't get up inside the sofa, or you might lose them for a while! Obviously you will need to rat proof any wires etc.
