Splitting rat cage

Post by Samana » Sat Jun 24, 2017 3:56 pm

So I have this cage for the ratties http://cozypet.co.uk/products/cozy-pet- ... erret-rc03 and need ideas on how to split the levels so that if one gets ill or I want to add to my mischief o could split if necessary.

Has anyone got this cage and have you managed to split it?

Just put the shelf over the hole and cover with your usual substrate.

Btw, if one of your rats gets ill, it's highly unlikely that they would need to be separated from your others - indeed, they could become more ill through depression or stress if separated. ;)
