Hello there
Me again, god I’m annoying!
I have a Jenny cage for 3 boys which is great but it’s 2nd hand and a bit battered. I am looking for a cage that has big doors at the fron to open and obvisoulay a large bottom so they can still dig? Any ideas? Thank you

Re: Cages
A freddy max is the same size as a jenny, but better quality and with a reasonably big door in the front.
If you want to look for something bigger, there's the coco 100, or a critter nation single (although you'd need to add a deep tray to that one).

Oh Mary you are amazing!
Can you get Deep trays? I did like the Zeno 3 but doors are a bit poo! Any experience on them? I also like the Savic royal but that is way out my price range and huge!

Gonna go for the critter nation single do you know where I can get the deeper trays for it please? Thank you

You can spend some money and get a metal one made, from places like John hopewell. Or you could buy measured pieces of Perspex and stick them together. I’ve had both, found the Perspex didn’t stick together very well but other people have had more success than me.

Re: Cages
I have plastic trays - I ordered my sections from https://www.sheetplastics.co.uk/, but there are others who may have lower postage, or better still, be local to you so you could collect.
I used industrial strength superglue to join them together, which works well for 4mm thick, but not well for 2mm! Other people have successfully used gorilla tape, which is like a really thick strong sellotape.
It's worth looking out for second hand SRS or Explorer cages though, they can be bargains.
