Peanut Butter?

Sorry for being a nuisance to the site and posting again after yesterday, but as a treat, I want to try my rats with peanut butter. The only problem is, is that I don't know how much to give them as a treat and if I need to melt it slightly.

Anyone know about this?

Many thanks :)

I have only ever used peanut butter as a way to get them to eat their meds and have only ever used 1/4 of a small finger nail size or less.

Peanut butter is delicious, as far as rats are concerned, but it's quite claggy and can stick in their throats. I'd water it right down (it's very sweet and fatty too).
