Re: Breeders in the West Midlands
Brandywine Rats at Ratty Corner
Rugby, Warwickshire (officially West Mids but on the nubbin that sticks out into the East Mids)
Breeding for temperament, health and longevity.
Varieties are agouti, Russian blue, Russian blue agouti, cinnamon, mink and black in Essex and unmarked, smooth coat.
I have several years of rat keeping experience (since 2001) and bred my first litter in July 2008. My motivation is a wish to improve the health and lifespan of our furry friends (still a work in progress), while passing down the lovely temperament of my current rats.

Yabba Dabba Doo Stud, Lichfield, Staffordshire
I have been breeding since 2005 and currently am working on the following varieties:
Topaz, Buff, Russian buff (unstandardised) and PEW. I do get some other varieties alongside e.g. black and agouti. Some of my pairings are for dumbo/rex in the relevant varieties.
It can take me a little while to repond as i work full time and have the rats to care for, whilst also being chairman of the MRC and treasurer for the NFRS so have quite a lot to fit in to my day! Also the reason my website is often a bit out of date!

Beltane Rats
Beltane Rat based in Dudley West Midlands.
I have been breeding rats since 2006 we only have a few litters a year. Our rats are part of our family and are handled by everyone.
I mainly breed Russian Blue and Russian Blue Agouti in Berkshire and Irish but often have other colours in a litter. I breed for health and temperament first, markings come second. Berkshires are my favourite variety, I have a soft spot for those splogy bellies
I'm a member of the nfrs and a committe member of the mrc. I'm the one in charge of rosettes and trophies
