I have nothing really constructive to say but just want to repeat that you're all in my thoughts. :hearts:

Lost 2 tiny babies last night - not a surprise as despite best efforts they've been fading for a few days. :(
Nobody is severely ill now - just a few residual snuffles and whiffles. They've all lost weight and energy so are being thoroughly spoilt with almost anything they fancy to eat. (except Dolly mixtures Alison ;) )

Glad they're on the mend, very sorry about the kittens. Give them lots of marzipan from me. X x

We said goodbye to old man Bester today  It wasn't just this infection at fault though. He was two weeks away from being 3 and a half years old, and already had various health issues. The infection started to affect him increasingly over the last couple of days, then last night I noticed his eye was infected, and a few hours after that I felt a lump in his neck. Vet and I think it was most likely a tumour, he wouldn't have dealt with invasive treatment so we let him go before it put pressure on his airways.

After the initial sedative injection, he snuggled with me, eating one of his snacks. He ended up falling asleep still holding food in his mouth, funny old man. I'll miss him dearly :( :hearts:

Everyone else here is not much different, but possibly slightly improved. I feel reasonably confident that, from the look of them, all my remaining ratties are going to make it.

I'm sorry to hear there have been further losses for people, and really hope that everyone has said the last goodbyes they will have to. xxx

Only one on my critical list now, the rest seem to have reached the snotty bubbly noses so I've just ordered loads of bisolivin for the week. Myco will be the next battle I guess. So sorry about Aether and Bester ((hugs)) to you both.

Thanks Raz :hearts: Keeping everything crossed for your remaining critical one, and I hope the bisolvon works well for the others :luck:

I think you're right on the myco. I was saying yesterday to my mum I have a nasty feeling that the last bit of recovery (getting rid of remaining minor rattles and sneezes) is going to drag on somewhat, and I suspect that may be down to secondary myco flare ups. Just have to wait and see I guess, and hope there isn't too much long term damage.

Prince didn't make it. Amy was just leaving the house to take Seven to be pts lumpy hld old parkie  when he fell heavily out of hammock , I rushed him out of the house hoping to jump in the car with Amy, as I watched her drive past he passed away in my arms. Fortunately our much loved vet Marianne is back from holiday and gave Amy every drug possible in abundance and she is on call over the weekend if we need her. Rip Princely Prince and Seven :dumborainbow: :rattyrainbow:
