I attached the top halves of my cages together over the weekend, so now I have 7 boys in one bottom half and 2 top halves but the bottom half of the 2nd cage is kept separated for the 2 old brothers Eugene & Stan with some correx in-between the cages to stop any silly business :

I've reaaranged my double SRS suite again, all the doors are on the same side and it's not taking the whole room now. I managed to shove it almost back against the wall, but I've left squeezing space behind it for changing layouts and vacuuming and it also makes a nice ratty hiding place too!

Just remembered i havnt posted in here yet with the double SRS!
I have made some big middle 'catcher' hammocks but only have one left now and its in the wash! There is usually less of a possible drop dont worry! Will get making more after xmas

I will be asking tips for hanging hammocks etc at other intervals than just the top too, as ive gone from single SRS with middle level to double with no levels! Maybe a bit adventurous!

I have managed to keep the stands on as zooplus had to send me extra bits as many i originally got were rusty or had the holes punched in the wrong places  its held together with strong cable ties aswell which i check daily, none have been eaten yet.

Another double here, this time double Explorer. Home to 7 active girls ranging from 5-6 months to over 2 years, plus clumsy Bob the fairly nimble manrat, who tries his best.

This isn't a tower cage, but it's definitely mix and match!
I joined my Speedy Chinchilla cage with my Ferplast Mini Brio cage. The substrate in the brio is Aubiose and card with hay on top. And in the speedy it's mostly Aubiose and cross-cut paper, but a little bit of card too.

It's currently home to 4 rats. Two spayed does who're currently 26 months and other than slowing down a bit and loosing a bit of muscle tone over their rear ends are still as mobile as ever. The other two are 5 month old super-pingy bucks with endless amounts of energy.

Here are a couple of recent layouts, home to nine active girls, including one elderly lady with slight HLD who still zooms around.

New double SRS. Still needs a few bits but it doesn't house any rats yet. Will soon be home to 12 does and 1 neutered buck
