my new Little Zoo X-Trail Animal Cage

Re: SRS/Explorer/Ferret & Critter Nation/Aventura style cage
I've just upgraded to an SRS and made some acrylic trays for it.
Currently have removed both shelves (because they tend to pee on them!) but have lots of hammocks because my old guy Kevin is unwell and tends to fall.
JarJar and Yoda the young guys are loving having a nice play area in the basement with their wheel.

Wooo so after 8/9 years of keeping rats I've finally done away with the furret towers (which are great spaces but a frickin nightmare to clean!) and got the SRS! I've wanted one for soooo long and I'm not disappointed with it. The access is great and our girlies are loving the space! Still got a few things to come through the post but this is my new made up cage (which I put together all by my lonesome! yay me!)
And the bonus part was the storage space underneath means I've been able to do away wth the 'rat pile' which normally accumulates next to the cage

I've been able to open up one of my SRSs by removing the middle floor (the other one is currently stuck), and I much prefer it:

Explorer top section (separated from the bottom):

I have realised I’ve universally neglected this Thread, so here’s some updated SRS pics.
I now have a triple SRS, I use it in 2 parts, the top part is the penthouse suite for visitors, kittens or 3rd stage intros. The bottom 2 sections are my main cage, home to my girls for the majority of the time.

My main SRS (2 sections)

A single level SRS, aka the top section of my triple
