I shuffled a couple of bits about and added a few more things, they seem to like it better :D .

I finally decided to go platform free in my explorer :)

I'm so glad I did it and dont think I'd go back to having a platform in now! Every single thing gets used a lot, even the almost vertical post thing gets used by everyone! I love it and my boys seem to as well!

We have a brand-new cage! We bought an Aventura (basically, a Critter Nation) from EQF a couple of weeks ago, and we're starting to really love it. Here's some rubbish-quality pics  sorry, taken on a camera phone, but hopefully you should be able to see the general outline

The disgruntled occupants are waiting for out-time, I think they were'nt impressed with my sense of priorities.

We've replaced the tray-style shelves that came with the cage using several layers of reinforced cardboard covered in sticky-back plastic - unorthodox but it works well, cleans easily, and if we don't like the colour, we can get new ones. They sit in the cage-holder frames (technical word?) much better than the metal ones as well, and don't fill up with 'debris'

We've got some hanging houses on order from snugglebugs which should arrive before xmas, which I'm really looking forward to adding to the cage :D

The boys current set up. Haven't had the middle section in for quite a while. Hoping to get a larger plastic tub for the bottom this weekend and see what other bits and bobs ikea may have for them.

New layout, I'll probably shuffle it about a bit as I'm not sure I'm happy with it yet:
