Well I managed to get a photo of Bubble but Squeak is very camera shy. A photo of my latest set up. Only got my babies on Saturday night, I've changed set up 3 times already! At least my girls seem to like this one. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 6a4176284e

One of my recent cage set ups.

Looking So bare and BORING compared to everyone elses.
I've kinda found this cage really difficult for getting toys into/hanging stuff because of the lack of access.

Posting this as a bit of a comparison for when I get my SRS and hope to have it totally kitted out like everyone elses.

i thought my cage was quite full up until i looked at everyone elses cages lol think i need to buy some more now. :D

as you can probably tell there is a bit of a RED theme going on so i get limited to buying toys but i do manage. and the little blue house will soon be red too just waiting for it to be delivered :D

Terenziani hodgepodge during intros but set up normally.

The green rope and wooden perch as seen in the previous post are still in this layout in the same places, you just can't see them too well.

This is my current set-up (Critter 3). And I was worried that I was over filling it with stuff, but looking at other set-ups, I think I'm under doing it!

I recently turned the top level around so the holes in the floors are not on top of each other (because I also recently removed the ramp to the top level and used a wooden "rope" for them to climb up and down with instead), to reduce the falling distance. But the girls seem very confused by this. They don't use the "wooden rope" any more, they just seem to jump down, or climb the wall to get up. But they used it before I moved the hole.

The multi-coloured rope goes through all three levels. They just seem to ignore that too.

Image

This is the top level. They sleep in the Hammock all the time. The cardboard box is new, and they have started to use that too, but they get destroyed in urine too quickly. I need to find a way to protect them.

Image

This is the middle level. They never really use the hammock here, unless hiding while eating. The box on the left has treats hidden in the (clean) sand. The teddy is the last of 4, that have been mercilessly torn apart for their insides to be used as bedding. Haha

Image

The bottom level. Nothing too fancy. Food, water, litter tray.

Image

We keep the cage beside our couches, so we are always near them, and they lay in the top hammock and just stare at us. It is kind of creepy. But hey, we love em!

Here is my girls cage, not very girly but matches my living room d├ęcor. I moved the water bottle once the girls decided which corner they'd use for a potty :)

Saturday afernoon set up!

So, Saturday is generally cleaning day and this was the end result of one hours work! Does anyone else take that long or do I just faff?

The boyz love their tuff tubes (thank God for cable ties) and cardboard boxes and as you can see we are far too fond of chocolate and biscuits!

I bought the eggs from RR having read the review that said one lady's rats loved playing with these. Not sure ours do anything with them or not!

Tried to get some pics of Buttons and Wispa but they weren't playing ball...oh well...maybe another day.
