Feeling a bit sick

Post by Pepperpots » Sun Sep 27, 2015 4:28 pm

Was researching hamsters on a well known forum and came across someone talking about their rats.

They are American breeders and have bred from an unfriendly female, as they only have two does. They've already culled four babies, due to size, and are now saying they are going to cull the mum once the babies are big enough, as she bit them.

Poor, poor ratlet. Personally think they should never have bred her the first time and never again. But at least let her live out her life as a pampered pet. She was protecting her babies!

She's planning on keeping two of the remaining babies and killing the rest.

She also put down her male rat without taking him to the vets.

Those culled are fed to her snakes.

(I don't breed btw)

Hamster forums depress me :(
