Ferplast Mini Brio set up for 1x 25 month buck, 2x 22 month spayed does, 1x 19 month spayed doe. They were living here, but then the oldest died and I realised that
a) they were mostly podgy
b) Fen still has full use of all his limbs without any muscle wastage at all
So although it feels so wrong based on numbers to have an older buck in such a cage, he's fine, they're all climbing more, and it's all good. He can build up his shoulder strength so that when he does start to age he can be as mobile as he can for as long as possible :)

Medium brio set ups - these are from around 5 years ago, so incorporate more shelves and fewer ropes than I would use now...

At the time, I sometimes used the brio divided in half for kittens. I created a floor using a cut up pennine cage, which meant there was a door in the floor which could be closed when the cage was divided. (I then put a temporary tray in for the upper half, made from vinyl.)
